August Favorites & Lifestyle

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be sharing my August favorites with you. This month as been a mix between beauty and non beauty items.Without further a due let's get started.
Let's start with the beauty items first. As you can see from the photo not that many beauty favorites this month non like other months where there as been lots of beauty favorites. I have to be honest I haven't worn that much makeup this month since its been so hot and humidity. Anyways...First favorite of this month was my NARS Translucent Powder In Crystal. I can't say enough good things about this product. Its a amazing setting powder that gives your face a matte luminized look to your face. This item as been talked about a lot on my blog. If you want to know more on my thoughts and what I think about this item make sure you check out my review I did and also my summer beauty essentials where this item was mentioned.

Second favorite of this month was my sunscreen! Cant stress enough how important it is to put on sunscreen everyday. The sunscreen I have been really enjoying is the Neutrogena Beach Defense in SPF 70 cuz I burn like a tomato (lol) I have been using this sunscreen on my face this past month everyday. Really been likeing it even tho its doesn't say face on the package. I find it that its not to heavy and it doesn't make my face feeling oily, which I find some sunscreen do if they are not targeted for the face.

Next favorite of mine for this month was my Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara. This mascara is my old time favorite but a goodie. I have been thru a couple of tubes of this mascara and always find myself going back to it. This mascara gives me such amazing volume and fullness to my lashes that no other mascara as done before. Overall just a great mascara to have. If you haven't tried it for yourself please go and get yourself some. :)

Last beauty favorite is a other mascara. Which is the Urban Decay Perversion Bigger Blacker Badder Mascara. This mascara was in a beauty haul a couple of months ago and now it as made it into my August favorites. I really love this mascara and its definitely becoming a holy grail of mine. This mascara gives me a wispy look to my lashes while lengthening  and separating them. Overall a other great mascara that everyone needs to go and try out for them self's.
On to lifestyle items. First favorite of this month were my V- Neck T Shirts from American Eagle.  These t shirts are all I have been wearing this past month. They are super comfortable to wear and super easy to dress up or down. I don't know if its just me but I find that the more I was them the more soft they become. Last favorite of mine as been my Wall Flower From Bath & Body Works. Lets just take a second to say how gorgeous this wallflower is! The fragrance that I have right now is the mahogany teak wood, Which to me smells exactly like the clothing store abercrombie fitch.

That's all for my August favorites. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. And maybe you found something new you might want to try. I will talk to you guys very soon.

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by to my blog and welcome. Today I am going to be doing a haul/ first impressions/ review, on two items that I got at the Sephora insider appreciation sale that was in the beginning of this month. I don't have anything left to say. So lets get started.
Here are the two items that I picked up during the insider appreciation sale. First item that I picked up is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wash cleanser with a Antioxidant Booster. And second and last item that I picked up is the Murad Clarifying Wipes For Blemish-Prone Skin.

Lets get started on the first impressions/ review part of this blog post. The first item that I am to be talking about is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wash Cleanser With A Antioxidant Booster. The First thing I noticed about this item when I used it that it as a gel consistency to it. Which I never been a big fan of especially for face stuff. This product is different from other face cleansers even tho it as a gel like to it because it will lather up really nice giving you the feel that its cleaning your face. This cleanser is a little thick of a cleanser I don't mind at all. The only down fall to this cleanser is the scent not a big fan of it. Don't get me wrong it not a bad smell or anything but it could smell better. The one thing that I love about this item is that my skin doesn't feel dry after using it. ($20.00)

Now into the Murad Clarifying Wipes For Blemish - Prone Skin. The first thing that I noticed about these wipes when I first used them is the smell. It as a very strong scent to it. Which threw me off at first but now that I have been using them for a week now. I don't mind it at all. I wish could describe the scent to you but I am terrible at that sorry. I use these wipes in the morning after I wake up just to refresh my face and to get any oily, dirt off. I don't use them to get makeup off, so not sure if they work like that. They claim to help keep skin clear and I have to say I know I only have used them for a week now but I do see my face not breaking out as much since using this wipes. Thumbs up for that! :) ($18.00)

That's all for my haul/first impressions/review on the two items that I picked up at the sephora insider appreciation sale. Hope you guys enjoyed this haul and let me know if you have or thinking of trying these items for yourself in a comment below. Make sure you follow me on twitter:Shopaholic84504 so you know when new post go up. And I will talk you guys soon.

REVIEW: Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterpoof Eyeliner In (Stable)

Hi guys welcome back to my blog! Today I want to review a another rimmel London item. If you read my other blog post that I posted about two weeks ago then you have seen how much I love the rimmel London lip liners.Today I want to talk about the rimmel London Exaggerate Waterpoof Eyeliner in (Stable). Ok Lets get started.
This eye liner as you can see form the photo above is a very creamy and smooth liner. Goes on to the eyes very easy without a lot of pulling to the eye. As you can see it as a built in smudgier so perfect for when you want to go for that smokey eye look. The staying power is good but you would need to touch it up after a couple of hours. That can be a down fall on the way you look at it.
Here is a swatch of the eye liner. This swatch isn't that greatest. Sorry for that. This eye liner is very pigmented and its such a beautiful brown color.

And that's my review on the Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner in Stable.. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful in some way. Talk to you guys soon.

My Top 10 Summer Beauty Essentials

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Today I am going to be showing you my top 10 summer beauty essentials. I have to say this was little hard for me to pick just ten products. It took me a while but I have my top 10. So without wasting anymore time lets get stared!.
Here is a overview of all ten beauty items that I think are essentials for the summer time.
My first summer beauty essential is sunscreen I find that I am outside a lot more during the summer so you want to protect your skin from the sun. The one I am currently using is the Neutrogena Beach Defense in spf 70. Second summer essential is a bb cream. This bb cream is light weight and it as a light to medium coverage to it. I find this bb cream gives me a glow to my skin when wearing it. The bb cream that I am talking about is the Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream in light to medium skin tone.

Third summer beauty essential is a good leave in conditioner with some type of frizz control in it. My hair is a big frizz ball during the summer so having a good leave in condition with frizz control in it. Is a big must for me! The one I am using is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Leave In Conditioner. Fourth summer beauty must is hand sanitizer, I cant tell you how many times I have been out and wished I had some hand sanitizer with me. Trust me this is a MUST! Its the Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer. This one is in a pump so you have better control of how much comes out. One more thing about this item is that when you pump some out into your hands it comes out in liuqd form and not a foam like, which I honestly like better.

Next summer must have is a good primer for your face beacuse you dont want your makeup to be melting off your face thru out the day.The primer that I have been really enjoying using is the Benefit The Pore Fessional. This one is only a sample of it but it as lasted me a while now. And I love it such a great product to have. Basically what it does is it minimize the appearance of pores! What! (lol)

Number six is my NARS Translucent Powder in (Crystal). I have done a review on this item already here on my blog. So I am not going to go into much detail on this item. If you want to know more on the Nars translucent powder and my thoughts on it go check out that review. What I can tell you is that this as saved my faced this summer, It is such a beautiful setting powder that goes on so light on the face. Something to think about getting for the summer.

The Seventh summer beauty essential of mine are my bolting sheets. I think every girl needs bolting sheets in there purse during the summer just for when you feel oily and want something quick to blot away all of the oil from your face. The bolting sheets that I have been using for a while now are the Boscia Black Charcoal. They are great and get rid of any oil on my face.

Third to last summer beauty must have is a good bronzer. I am white as a ghost so a bronzer is a must for me. The one I have repurchased time and time again is the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder. I also have done a review on this item here on my blog and I also believe this was in my April favorites? don't quote me. If you want to know more and my thoughts please go check that blog post out. I can tell you its a beautiful bronzer that gives me a natural glow.
Number nine summer beauty essential of mine is a dry shampoo. I don't wash my hair everyday so I need something that will leave my hair feeling clean and smelling nice. But also soak up all of the oil in my hair. The dry shampoo that I have using lately is the Pantene Blowout Extended Dry Shampoo. This stuff works and leaves my hair feeling clean and smelling fresh.

And finally number 10 summer beauty essential item of mine is a pair of sunglasses. Not sure if this counts as a beauty item but...whatever.  Everyone needs a pair of sunglasses during the summer to protect your eyes from the sun. This glasses I bought a couple of years ago at a local clothing store. So I am not sure where you can get the same pair at.

That's all my top ten summer beauty essentials of mine. Hope you guys enjoy this very long post. And found it helpful in someway. Talk to you guys very soon. :)
