A Collective Birthday Sephora, Nordstrom Haul!!!

Hey everyone How is everyone doing ? Today I want to share with you guys a collective birthday Sephora and one item that I got from Nordstrom haul. That as been building up for two weeks now. My birthday was already two weeks ago but I have been so busy and there was other stuff I wanted to post that this haul got pushed to the back. Anyways its here so lets get into this haul.
Here is everything I got on this haul. I am going to start that the left top concern and work myself down. First two things that I got were samples for begin a Sephora beauty insider.

Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer: I am pretty excited that this was one of the things to pick out from. I have heard really good things about this brand on blogs and YouTube. Cant wait to try it out while I am on vacation since this is the perfect size for traveling.

Fresh Soy Cleanser And Rose Face Mask: This was the birthday gift of may form sephora. Pretty excited to try these two items out. I only hear really good things about both items and the brand. Really hoping the mask will smell like fresh roses.

Clinique Acne Solutions BB Cream: I picked up this bb cream to start using during the summer since I am not a big fan of wearing foundation during the hot months. I am pretty excited and have high hopes for this bb cream. Ever since You tuber MakeupbyTiffanyD as talked about this product and said how amazing it is. I had to go and get me some.

Benefit Danndelion Blush: I have tired out this item and have done a whole review on it here on my blog. If you read that post already then you know how I feel about this blush. And if you haven't and want to please go and give that post some love. What I am going to say now is that this is a great blush and love how it brightens up my face. Amazing product think everyone should give it a try. Ps its a very pretty baby pink blush that goes on to the cheeks beautifully.

Chanel Pinceau Correcteur Concealer Brush (10): This makeup brush I didn't get at Sephora. I bought this at Nordstrom. I haven't tried this item yet. But I do own  a other Chanel brush and I really like that one, so I am hoping this one doesn't disappoint me.

Too Faced Mr. Right The Perfect Powder Brush: I have used this makeup brush since buying it. I put it back in the packaging because I think its so cute. So far I am really liking it. This makeup brush is super lite when holding and puts powder on your face really nice. On the package it said you can use it for bronzer luminizers and blushes I haven't tried this brush for that. My purposes of buying this brush was to use it for powder, but I might try and see if its good for all of those things to.

That's all for this birthday haul from Sephora and Nordstrom. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and maybe found something in this haul that you might want to pick up for your self. In a comment below let me know if you guys want to see reviews or a updated post on any of these products.  Always be sure you are following me here on my blog to know when I post when stuff. And I will talk to you guys soon.

The jean jacket that I am wearing in the photo above I am not sure where its from since I had it for a very long time already. (Sorry...) I rolled up the shelves since it was a warm day and didn't want to be to hot in it. The dress is from Old Navy its a light weight dress that as a pretty flower design on it. and flowy. This dress is very comfortable and the perfect length not to short and not to long on me. Then for shoes that you cant see in the photo I am wearing my Steve Madden black flats that I had for years now and are something that I grab when wearing dresses or skirts.

Last but not least is accessories. For accessories I am wearing my rose gold watch that I got from Macy's a couple of years ago. And of course I am also wearing my Fitbit Charge can't leave the house without knowing how many steps I have taken. lol.

That's all for this outfit of the day post. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and maybe found some inspiration form it for a outfit of the day of your own. Empties Of April | May (Products That I Have Used Up)

Hey everyone hope everyone is doing good. Today I want to share with you guys some of the products that I have used up in the last two months or so. I have quite a lot of empties this time around. So lets just jump right into it.
Here is all of my empties from these two months. I am going to start on the left top corner of the photo above and just work myself down. The first item is the

Softsoap Body Butter Strawberry Smother Body Wash: This body wash was really nice and it lathered up really good which I like a good lather when it comes down to body washes. It smells exactly like strawberries which I really enjoyed. This body wash is also very soft and creamy. Overall great body wash and something I will be re buying again.

Orgx Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner:  This is a very very heavy, thick and creamy conditioner. A little of this conditioner goes a long way. I find that if I put to much of this in my hair at a time my hair will look weighed down and flat. The scent is a very pleasant coconut smell and not to over powdering. Just a good conditioner that leaves your ends looking soft and healthier after using it. I also found that I had less breakage when using this product. Which is a big plus for me.

Pantene Original Fresh Dry Shampoo: Great dry shampoo this is my second bottle of this, so you can tell I really enjoy using this dry shampoo. This product smells really nice and it really does get rid of any oil in your hair. The only down fall that I have with this item is that I find that when I use it for two days in a row it leaves my hair feeling dry and straw like. I sometimes had a hard time brushing my hair since there was so much build up in my hair from this product. Even with that downfall there is something about this dry shampoo I really like and will keep re buying.

Avenno Daily Moisturizing Lotion: Was a very moisturizing creamy hand lotion. It melted into my skin beautifully without leaving my hands feeling greasy. Overall great hand cream!

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser: This cleanser is and will always be my holy grail product! It removes makeup so easily and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. Not drying at all. I don't find there is a scent to this cleanser, but if you guys have tried this cleanser before and thought there was a scent to it let me know in a comment below. I have already bought a other one of these traveled sized Cetephil cleansers to bring with me when I go on vacation this month. Amazing cleanser you guys need to try it and yes its very affordable not only that you find this at any drugstore.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes: If you have been following me here on my blog for a while now then you have heard me talking about these makeup wipes before so I am not going to get to much into it since I have talked about this product a ton! here. What I will say that these makeup wipes are the only ones that I will keep re buying again again and again because they are great. They remove all your makeup with just one wipe even water proof mascara. They smell really nice not to over powdering. The wipe it self is a nice thick almost feel like you are using a cloth on your face that's how soft they are.

Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes: I don't use these towelettes to remove makeup since I find that they don't do that of a great job. What I do use them for is in the morning when I wake up and I am to lazy to wash my face. I will take one of these wipes and just wipe any dirt and oil from my face from that night. And they do a great job of that my face looks clean and fresh. These wipes are also very soft to the touch and thick so they feel like a cloth when using them. Great wipes! PS the scent is a very fresh and clean smell. Which I like a lot.

Curel Ultra healing Lotion: Getting down to the wire here I promise you guys. I don't remember that much of this hand cream at all to be honest. All I do remember is that it was a good hand cream and smelled nice.

Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen Lotion:  And finally the last product of my empties for this post. I love anything from Neutrogena so it was no surprise that I really enjoyed this product. This sunscreen was a light weight sunscreen that went on the body really nice without leaving my skin feeling greasy or gross. Just a good item to have.

That's all for this empties post. I know it was a long one I just had a lot of products to get thru and a lot to say about each one. Hope you guys don't mind and enjoyed this post anyway. Let me know in a comment below what products have you guys used up lately I would love to know. As always be sure you are following my blog to know when I post new stuff and I will talk to guys very soon.

Two Mimi Reviews On Two Different Products (TooFaced, Benefit)

Hey everyone welcome back to my blog. Today I want to review two items that I have been using the last couple of months and been really loving them, so I thought why not share my thoughts on them with you guys. They are going to be two short reviews in one blog post. With that begin said let's jump right into it.
The first item that I am going to be talking about and giving you my thoughts on is the Too Faced Better Then Sex Mascara. I have read and watch videos on reviews on this item and its pretty mixed reviews. First thing I want to get out of the way is this is a more bit on the expensive side of mascaras. It cost ($23.00) which is a little much but its a great mascara. The one I have and the one that is in the photo above is a traveled sized one since I wanted to try it out and see if I like it.

The traveled sized one I believe and don't quote me cost ($12.00) give or take. I think that is a great size of a tube and great price point if you are looking to try out a new mascara and don't want to get the full sized one just yet.

This mascara gives my lashes so much length, volume that sometimes I think I am wearing false eye lashes. No joke! As you can see in the photo above the wand is on the big side of wands and it as a hour glass shape to it. I find it easier to work with bigger wands so I didn't mind the wand. This mascara is a wet mascara so what I find best to do is let it dry out for a couple of days and then its a lot easier to work with then it begin so wet and fresh.

The only down fall I see with this mascara is that it can get a little clumpy on the lashes but nothing to bad where I would want to stop using it. Overall a great mascara and I am very happy with it.
The last product that I want to talk about in this review is the Benefit Dandelion Blush. This is a traveled sized one and not the full version, just in case anyone was wondering. This blush is ($29.00) and that is for the full sized one.The one I have which is a traveled sized on is ($15.00).

This is such a beautiful pale pink color. That goes on to the face great very bendable and buildable if you want to build up your blush. This blush is very brightening on the face that I find myself not using highlight since this blush does that to! Speaking of that if you were to read the back of this box it said that you even use this powder all over the face for a pretty glow. Which I haven't tried out yet but might do soon.

This blush is very powdery when using it but nothing to crazy. This blush is very pigmented and very buildable to the face. The last two things I want to say about this item is that it comes with a mirror and a brush. The brush is a very good brush it applies the product on the face really nice. I have to be honest that really surprised me since most of the time when products comes with brushes they are very scratchy and not soft to the face, and don't apply the product very well. That is not the case with this brush.

Overall great blush and I think everyone should go out and try it.

That's all for this two mini reviews on two different items. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. And maybe found it helpful in some way. In a comment below let me know if you guys have tried these two products and what were your thoughts on them. As always be sure you are following my blog to know when I post new stuff. And I will talk to you guys very soon.
